Since 2018, the Basic and Secondary Education Department has not conducted any recruitment. Consequently, the Yogi government is now planning to address these vacancies, with directives issued to all relevant departments.
During the Thursday meeting of the Union Ministry of Education's Board of Approval in Delhi, the state government reported that a significant number of teacher recruitments are slated for the 2025-56 session. Specifically, there are vacancies for 181,276 positions for classes 1-5, 3,872 positions for classes 6-8, and 8,714 positions for classes 9-10.
