Uttar Pradesh News: The Uttar Pradesh administration has made a significant decision regarding students in madrasas. Students in grades 9 through 12 will now learn modern subjects such as science and mathematics in addition to traditional ones. Previously, madrasas followed the Basic Education Council syllabus for grades 1 to 8, while grades 9 to 12 focused mainly on languages like Urdu, Arabic, and Persian.

Media reports indicate that the government has resolved to include science and mathematics in the madrasa syllabus as per the UP Board. This change will enable students to receive a modern education similar to that of regular schools. A committee meeting will be organized shortly to put this decision into action, with the Director of Social Welfare leading the discussion on the new curriculum.
