Covid cases in Hong Kong
COVID-19 cases and fatalities in Hong Kong have surged to their highest point in almost a year. By May 3, the coronavirus had resulted in 31 deaths in the region. Fortunately, the infection levels have not surpassed the peaks experienced in the past two years. There has been a significant rise in the number of doctor visits and hospital admissions related to COVID-19, suggesting the virus is spreading among the city's population of over 7 million.

A warning has been announced in Singapore concerning the coronavirus. This month, the health ministry provided an update on the surge in infections, marking the highest increase in almost a year. The update indicates a 28 percent rise in the estimated number of COVID-19 cases as of May 3. Compared to the previous week, 14,200 new corona cases have been reported this week. Additionally, there has been a 30 percent rise in hospitalizations.
