COVID-19 cases surge to 1200 in India, States under threat
Corona cases in India have crossed 1200. The situation is grim in states like Kerala, Delhi, Maharashtra and UP. Four new variants LF.7, XFG, JN.1 and NB.1.8.1 are active. The WHO did not consider these to be worrisome, but kept them under surveillance. People have been advised to wear masks and follow social distancing.
The number of coronavirus cases is once again rising swiftly throughout the nation. The Health Ministry's website reports that COVID-19 cases in India have surpassed 1,200, with the majority occurring in Kerala. Furthermore, all major states have reported coronavirus cases. To date, 13 individuals have succumbed to COVID-19 in six states, including Kerala, Delhi, Maharashtra, and Uttar Pradesh.
Four new variants active
When the rapidly growing corona case in the country was investigated, it was found that 4 new variants are active in the country so far. These variants are from the LF.7, XFG, JN.1 and NB.1.8.1 series. The World Health Organization (WHO) has also not considered these variants of Covid to be worrisome. However, it has placed them in the category of variants kept under surveillance.

In Patna, Bihar, four additional individuals have tested positive for the coronavirus, raising the total from 6 to 10. This count includes doctors and nurses from Patna AIIMS. Meanwhile, in Rajasthan, there are currently 39 active cases, and Chennai has 69 active cases.

Maintain a distance of at least 6 feet, especially in crowded places.
