Maharashtra reports 43 new COVID-19 cases amid national rise
Corona virus cases are increasing again in the country. Cases of infection are increasing in Maharashtra, Karnataka and Kerala. As per the latest data, there are a total of 363 active cases. There have been 43 new cases and one death in Maharashtra. The Union Health Ministry is monitoring the situation.
Covid-19 Update: The nation is experiencing another rise in COVID-19 cases. Following Kerala and Karnataka, Maharashtra is also seeing an increase in infections. Some states have reported fatalities as well. Recent figures indicate that there are currently 363 active cases nationwide, with two deaths occurring in the past two days.
Media sources indicate that Maharashtra has reported 43 new Covid-19 cases recently. In Thane, a 21-year-old man succumbed to the coronavirus. He was receiving treatment at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Kalwa Hospital, where he passed away.
In Bengaluru, Karnataka's capital, an 84-year-old man passed away, having been afflicted by multiple severe illnesses. The report indicated that numerous bodily functions had ceased. Subsequently, his COVID-19 test results returned positive. The state has reported 38 new coronavirus cases, with 32 originating from Bengaluru.
Advisories have been issued by multiple states, such as Karnataka and Delhi, due to a slight rise in COVID-19 cases. Nonetheless, health experts have reassured the public that there is no cause for alarm, as the infection rate remains low and the majority of cases are mild.
Union Health Ministry reviews
Union Health Secretary Punya Salila Srivastava assessed the Covid situation in states such as Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu. Nevertheless, the Ministry of Health and relevant agencies are continuously keeping an eye on the circumstances.
