Bihar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Bihar for two days. On the first day of his trip, he inaugurated and laid the foundation for numerous development projects in Karakat, Bihar, valued at over Rs 48,520 crore. During a speech to the crowd, he remarked, "The residents of Sasaram understand the traditions and principles of Lord Ram. 'Lives may end, but words remain'.

According to the media report, in his address, referring to the horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam, he said that after this attack, I had promised the country on the soil of Bihar that the hideouts of the masters of terrorism would be destroyed, they would get such punishment that they would never have imagined. Today when I have come to Bihar, I have fulfilled my promise.

Prime Minister Modi also mentioned that both Pakistan and the global community have observed the strength symbolized by the vermilion worn by India's daughters. The world has seen the exceptional bravery and courage demonstrated by the BSF during Operation Sindoor. In the noble task of defending the nation, BSF Sub Inspector Imtiyaz sacrificed his life at the border on May 10. I offer my respects to this son of Bihar.

He stated that the adversary has witnessed the might of Operation Sindoor, and they should realize that this is merely one of many strategies at India's disposal. The nation's battle against terrorism is ongoing and relentless. Should the threat of terror emerge once more, India will decisively eliminate it from its hiding place.

'Jungle Raj Government in Bihar dismissed'

Prime Minister Modi stated that Bihar began progressing when the jungle raj government was ousted under Nitish Kumar's leadership. The days of broken highways, poor railroads, and limited air connectivity are now a thing of the past. Currently, a network of four-lane highways is under construction in Bihar, and bridges are being erected over all major rivers.

The modernization of the Patna airport terminal has been a persistent demand from the people of Bihar, and this request has now been met. Last evening, I had the honor of inaugurating the new terminal building at Patna Airport. The updated terminal is now capable of accommodating 10 million passengers. Additionally, Bihta Airport is receiving a beverage investment of Rs 1,400 crore.

Prime Minister Modi stated that the government has introduced the Makhana Board. We have granted a GI tag to a food product from Bihar, which has significantly helped the farmers who prepared my meals! Additionally, in this year's budget, we have initiated a National Institute in Bihar.

Also targeted at RJD-Congress

The Prime Minister stated that those who have deceived Bihar the most, specifically the impoverished and farmers who departed Bihar, are now misleading others about social justice to conceal the truth. For many years, Dalits, Orissans, and Passport holders in Bihar lacked access to basic amenities like toilets. Additionally, for decades, these individuals were unable to open bank accounts, as their access to banks was restricted.

The Prime Minister also mentioned that millions of people lacked a permanent roof over their heads. He questioned whether this hardship and suffering experienced by the people of Bihar was the social justice promised by the Congress and RJD. He asserted that there is no greater injustice than this. According to him, Congress and RJD members never cared about the issues faced by Dalits and instead blamed outsiders for Bihar's poverty.
