Discussing the allocation of tickets in the Bihar elections, he has issued a warning to all the leaders. The Prime Minister has also set an essential requirement for obtaining tickets before the leaders. Additionally, he cautioned the leaders by mentioning nepotism and the feudal system.
Prime Minister Modi talked about the selection of party leaders at the BJP headquarters on Thursday. He offered numerous suggestions regarding the party's principles and its previous leaders. The Prime Minister remarked that after four generations, the BJP has grown to become the largest party globally. He urged party members to honor the sacrifices made by their forebears, as it is due to their dedication that the party has achieved its current status.
What did the PM say about defectors?
Discussing the elections, Prime Minister Modi cautioned those who switch parties. He emphasized that patience is the most valuable trait within the party, stating that respect follows patience. He noted that some leaders tend to switch allegiance during elections, only to return to their original party, which diminishes their significance. PM Modi advised against nepotism in politics, asserting that it should not resemble a feudal system where power is inherited, such as 'if not you, then your son.' He questioned why hardworking party members should not reap the rewards of their efforts.
The Prime Minister urged the workers to fortify the booth, emphasizing that a strong booth is essential for winning the election. He mentioned that anyone aspiring to run for election should have a minimum of 50,000 followers on social media, as it is the most effective platform for engaging with the public during election times.
