Venezuela and US War: Tensions between the United States and Venezuela have been escalating for some time, and this tension has now reached a critical point. Seven powerful explosions have rocked the Venezuelan capital, leading to speculation that the strikes were carried out by the US. American Apache helicopters were seen wreaking havoc in the skies, and fighter jets were observed flying overhead and carrying out heavy bombing. However, the US has not yet issued any official statement.
It is reported that the Venezuelan Defence Minister and military bases were targeted. The explosions were so powerful that people rushed out of their homes, and windows were shattered. Tensions between the two countries have been simmering over several issues. Let’s delve deeper into why the US bombed Venezuela…
Venezuela and US War

Venezuela has vast oil reserves, and after gaining independence from Spain in the 19th century, relations between the US and Venezuela were very close, with Venezuela selling approximately 15 percent of its oil to the US. However, when Hugo Chávez came to power in 1999, he nationalized all oil companies, reducing the stake of American companies. This led to strained relations between the two countries, and now these relations have deteriorated to the point that the US has attacked Venezuela.
It is worth noting that Trump had previously threatened Venezuela, accusing it of drug trafficking. However, Venezuela claims that the real objective is not to combat drug trafficking, but rather to overthrow its government and increase US control over its oil reserves.
US Fighter Plane Attack

Trump had previously threatened that an attack on Venezuela could happen at any time and had also attacked several boats on suspicion of drug trafficking. He also imposed a naval blockade and sanctions. So far, 107 people have been killed in this US action, and warships, marines, and helicopters have been deployed in the sea, putting continuous pressure on Venezuela.
Caracas Bomb Blast

Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro denied the drug trafficking allegations, stating that he is not involved in the drug trade. He accused Trump of plotting to overthrow his government and orchestrate a coup because Venezuela possesses vast oil reserves. Meanwhile, Trump alleged that the US is taking strong action against drugs and that the Venezuelan president runs a drug cartel, and even threatened military action.
