Among the prominent honorees were Virginia Delegate JJ Singh, the first turbaned Sikh in a US state legislature; Pakistani Minister Ramesh Singh Arora; and British MP Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi. Organizers emphasized that the gala not only celebrates individual excellence but also serves as a vital bridge to inspire future generations by highlighting the profound overlap between core Sikh values and global democratic ideals.

A central highlight of the evening was the recognition of Virginia Delegate JJ Singh, who recently made history as the first turbaned Sikh to serve in a state legislature in the United States.
