Meanwhile, Kuwait has claimed that Iran launched a drone attack against its territory. The Kuwaiti media agency reported this information, citing Colonel Saud Abdulaziz Al-Otaibi, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defence. He stated that between morning and noon, 28 Iranian drones were intercepted and destroyed in mid-air.

According to Al-Otaibi, some drones managed to reach the southern part of the country and targeted critical installations. These targets included major oil facilities, power plants, and desalination plants, all of which sustained significant damage.
Iran’s IRNA news agency claimed that, in retaliation for the attack on its refinery, Iran launched drone strikes against Kuwait and the UAE.

Separately, attacks are also continuing in Lebanon. According to Al Jazeera, Israel is currently conducting strikes in southern Lebanon. Israel has already stated that the Hezbollah-Israel front is not included in the current ceasefire agreement.
However, Hezbollah has so far refrained from claiming responsibility for any cross-border rocket launches or attacks on Israeli troops in southern Lebanon, and it is expected that they will clarify their stance shortly.
Meanwhile, Lebanese President Joseph Aoun welcomed the US-Iran ceasefire, expressing hope that his country would be included in the broader regional truce.
