Trump Tariff Bomb: US President Donald Trump has now directly targeted countries that are fuelling Putin’s war machine by buying oil from Russia. India and China are reportedly at the top of this list. According to foreign media reports, US Senator Lindsey Graham said that Trump has given the green light to a bipartisan bill related to new sanctions on Russia.
If this bill is approved, countries like India, China, and Brazil could face difficulties. Although the bill has not yet been passed, there are indications that it could be put to a bipartisan vote early next week.
Trump Targets India, China, and Brazil Over Russian Oil

In a post on the social media platform X on Wednesday, Lindsey Graham said that he had a meeting with President Trump today on various issues. He said that Trump has approved the bipartisan Russia sanctions bill, which he had been working on for months with Senator Blumenthal and several others. Graham said that this is a timely step, as Ukraine is making concessions for peace while Russia continues its military actions.
Graham wrote, “This bill will allow President Trump to punish countries that buy cheap Russian oil, fuelling Putin’s war machine.” He further added that this will give Trump the opportunity to put immense pressure on India, China, and Brazil. He indicated that the bill could be put to a bipartisan vote as early as next week.
After a very productive meeting today with President Trump on a variety of issues, he green lit the bipartisan Russia sanctions bill that I have been working on for months with Senator Blumenthal and many others.
This will be well-timed, as Ukraine is making concessions for peace…
