S Jaishankar News: India’s External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar has expressed strong displeasure over Poland’s stance on issues related to Pakistan. During a bilateral meeting with Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski in Delhi, Jaishankar clearly stated that any leniency on terrorism is unacceptable. He urged Poland to adopt a “zero tolerance” policy against terrorism.
S Jaishankar News: No room for compromise on terrorism

In the meeting, Jaishankar stated unequivocally that India is seriously concerned about the terrorist infrastructure operating in its neighbourhood. He said that cross-border terrorism emanating from Pakistani soil should not receive any support or legitimacy. The External Affairs Minister also added that all countries should adopt a uniform and strict policy in the fight against terrorism.
S Jaishankar: India’s Stance on Ukraine War and Russian Oil
At the beginning of the meeting, Jaishankar also questioned the criticism levelled against India by Western countries regarding the Ukraine war and oil imports from Russia. He said that selectively targeting India is neither fair nor justified. India has always made decisions by balancing its national interests and global responsibilities.
Pakistan Terrorism: Strong Remarks on the Kashmir Issue

Last year, in October, the Polish Foreign Minister visited Pakistan. A joint statement issued during the visit mentioned Jammu and Kashmir. The statement said that Pakistan presented its perspective on the Kashmir issue, and both countries emphasised the peaceful resolution of disputes under international law and the UN Charter. India strongly objected to this statement, considering it interference in its internal affairs.

Jaishankar raised the issue again at the meeting in Delhi and made it clear that Jammu and Kashmir is an internal matter of India. He said that it is unacceptable for any third country to comment on or issue statements on this issue. India expressed its expectation that Poland would adopt a balanced and responsible approach in such sensitive matters in the future.
Poland Incident: Poland supports India on terrorism

Following the raising of the issue of Pakistan-sponsored cross-border terrorism, Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski agreed with India’s perspective. He stated that cross-border terrorism is a serious challenge and requires concrete action to address it. Sikorski assured that Poland stands with India in the fight against terrorism. During the meeting, both sides also discussed issues such as mutual cooperation, global peace, and security. India made it clear that its stance on matters related to terrorism and sovereignty is absolutely clear and unwavering.
