Putin India Visit Update: 5 Layer Security for Putin
Preparations for this high-profile visit have been intensified, as authorities have beefed up security and logistics arrangements to ensure the Russian President‘s smooth and safe stay. Ahead of the summit, a comprehensive five-tier security framework has been put in place. This includes elite National Security Guard (NSG) commandos, snipers deployed along potential travel routes, drone surveillance, jammers to disrupt unauthorized signals, and AI-powered monitoring systems to maintain constant vigil.
High Security in Delhi
High-tech facial recognition cameras have also been installed. More than 40 senior Russian security personnel have already arrived in the national capital and are working closely with the NSG and Delhi Police to monitor every movement of the President’s convoy in real time and neutralise any potential threat.

During his talks with Prime Minister Modi, Special Protection Group (SPG) commandos will form the main security cordon. Every location associated with the visit, including Putin’s hotel and other locations that may be included in the itinerary, is being thoroughly inspected and secured. Authorities are taking extensive precautions to ensure there are no security lapses. Notable elements of the security deployment include the arrival of the Russian President’s state car, the heavily armored Aurus Senate Limousine, which has been specially brought in for the visit.
