Due to the ongoing bombings and airstrikes within Iran, it had become impossible to administer medical treatment there; consequently, a decision was made to transport him out of the country.
According to sources, Russian President Vladimir Putin offered to provide refuge to Mojtaba, following which he arrived in Russia and commenced his treatment. Iranian security agencies feared that Khamenei’s location might be compromised; hence, the decision was made to send him to Moscow.
