Mojtaba Khamenei stated in his statement that Iran will never forget its martyrs. He specifically mentioned those killed in Minab, saying that their blood will be avenged. Khamenei stated that the deaths of Iranian children, women, and civilians will not be in vain and that the country will respond to every loss. He said that the Iranian people have suffered heavy losses, but their courage has not weakened. The government and the military will work together to ensure that every attack against the country is met with a befitting response.
Praise for the Iranian Army
During his address, Khamenei praised the Iranian army and security forces. He stated that the army is protecting the country with full strength and is resolutely resisting enemy attacks. Khamenei stated that, despite difficult circumstances, the Iranian army has responded strongly, demonstrating that the country’s sovereignty and security will not be compromised.
Message to Neighbouring Countries
Iran’s Supreme Leader also appealed to neighbouring Middle Eastern countries. He said that if the US is carrying out operations against Iran from their soil, those countries should reconsider their actions. Khamenei clearly stated that Iran wants good relations with its neighbours and does not aim to harm any neighbouring country. However, if the US attacks Iran from any country’s soil, Iran will target US military bases located there.
