In a statement, Rawalpindi jail officials said, “There is no truth to reports of his transfer from Adiala Jail. He is completely fine and is receiving full medical care.” Jail officials dismissed speculation about his health as baseless and clarified that Imran Khan is being taken care of.

Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif stated that Imran Khan is receiving “five-star” facilities in prison. He explained that Khan, who has been in jail since August 2023 after being removed from power through a no-confidence motion in April 2022, did not receive such facilities even while in custody.
Khwaja Asif said, “Imran Khan is receiving comforts and facilities in prison that are not available in many places. Look at his food menu, it is not even available in many five-star hotels.” He also claimed that the PTI founder has access to a television and can watch any channel of his choice. Furthermore, exercise machines are also available for him.
