Florida Plane Accident: A shocking accident occurred in the US state of Florida on Monday evening. Due to a technical malfunction, a small plane made an emergency landing on a busy highway and collided with a car during the landing. The incident caused chaos in the area for some time.

The incident occurred on I-95 near Merritt Island at approximately 5:45 PM. The small Beechcraft 55 aircraft was carrying a 27-year-old pilot and a passenger of the same age. During the flight, both engines suddenly lost power, causing plane to become uncontrollable. While attempting to land, the plane collided with a car. The pilot was forced to land on the highway after which aircraft experienced a technical malfunction, but during landing amidst traffic, the plane struck a 2023 model Toyota car. Neither of them sustained any injuries. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), both of plane’s engines suddenly lost power, prompting pilot to make an emergency landing.
Aeroplane Crashes into Car: Woman in Car Sustains Minor Injuries
The 57-year-old woman driving the car was injured in the collision. She was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where her condition was reported as stable. The two people on board the aircraft were unharmed and managed to exit safely.

After the collision, plane came to a stop on the highway. The sudden landing and crash during rush hour caused traffic to stop and panic among drivers. The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) and local rescue teams immediately arrived at the scene. The southbound lanes of the highway near the 201-mile marker had to be completely closed. Cleanup and investigation work continued almost all night. The highway was finally reopened around 9 AM on Tuesday morning.
Another Plane Crash in Florida on the Same Day
On the same day, another plane crash was reported from another area of Florida. A Cessna 172 aircraft also made an emergency landing in the DeLand area, about 46 miles from Orlando. Two people on board this aircraft were injured, but their condition was reported as stable at the hospital. This second accident also became a cause for concern for the local authorities.

Experts are now investigating whether the cause of these incidents was a technical malfunction or a weather-related problem.
