Drone hits Saudi Arabia Oil Refinery: This attack on Ras Tanura, a major Saudi Arabian Oil Refinery centre, heightens concerns over disruptions to the regions’s energy network. Assault on a major oil refinery Ras Tanura is surfacing on web, which raises concerns and wider disruptions to energy infrastructure.

Saudi Aramco has currently shut down its Ras Tanura refinery to maintain precautionary measures following an Iranian Attack. Brent Crude oil prices have risen amid strikes being reporting of Saudi Aramco’s refinery shutdown.

Saudi Arabia’s state-owned oil company, Saudi Aramco, temporarily shut down its Ras Tanura refinery as a precautionary measure following an alleged drone attack on Monday morning. Footage from the refinery has emerged, showing thick smoke billowing from the refinery.

The ongoing war in the Middle East is now hurting the global economy. According to a Reuters report, Iran attacked the Ras Tanura refinery, one of Saudi Arabia’s largest oil company Aramco’s largest facilities, with a drone. Following the attack, the refinery has been completely shut down as a precaution.

Aramco officials say the situation is currently under control, but the halt was necessary for security reasons. It is the world’s largest refinery company. As news spread, Brent crude oil prices surged in the international market. The attacks on these oil fields in Dubai and Saudi Arabia have raised concerns about fuel supplies worldwide.
