CBSE March 3rd Exam Postponed: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued another circular regarding the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams to be held in various countries in the Middle East. The board has decided to postpone next two board exams in view of the Iran-Israel war. This decision will apply to affiliated schools located in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.

This decision was made on Tuesday, March 3rd, after reviewing the current critical situation across the region. According to a notice issued by the board, all Class 10 and Class 12 CBSE board examinations scheduled for March 5th (Thursday) and March 6th (Friday) have been postponed for the time being in these Middle Eastern countries. The board stated that new exam dates for these countries will be announced later. The board clarified that the situation will be reviewed again on March 5th. In this review, which will take place on March 5th, the board will make further decisions regarding the remaining examinations scheduled from March 7th.

The Board states that further decisions will be made based on the prevailing circumstances. The Board has advised all students and CBSE affiliated schools in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates to remain in touch with their respective schools and CBSE for the latest information. The Board has also urged students to rely only on official announcements.

A copy of this circular, issued by CBSE’s Controller of Examinations, Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj, has been sent to the Indian ambassadors in the respective countries, the Indian Consulate General in Dubai, and the Board’s regional office for necessary action. The Indian embassies in the countries where this official information has been shared include the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, the Indian Embassy in Riyadh, the Indian Embassy in Muscat, the Indian Embassy in Doha, the Indian Embassy in Bahrain, the Indian Embassy in Kuwait, the Indian Embassy in Tehran, the Indian Consulate General in Dubai, and the Central Board of Secondary Education’s regional office in Dubai.

The board has stated that the safety and well-being of students is paramount, and further information will be released in a timely manner, depending on the circumstances. It is worth noting that CBSE board exams are conducted in many countries around the world. This year, these exams were being conducted simultaneously in 26 countries, including countries in the Middle East. CBSE board exams in these countries began on February 17th, along with India.

In these Middle East Asian countries, exams scheduled for March 2nd had to be postponed. Following this, the 10th and 12th board exams scheduled for March 5th and 6th have also been postponed. However, these exams are being conducted regularly in other countries around the world, including India.
