Pak Army backs Anti-India Rallies led by Pahalgam attack mastermind
Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Saifullah Kasuri joins anti-India rallies in different cities of Pakistan. Kasuri, the mastermind of the Pahalgam attack, gave provocative speeches against India from the stage. These rallies have received support from the Pakistan Army, in which Hafiz Saeed and his son Talha Saeed were also present.
Pakistan is currently holding anti-India demonstrations in more than 50 cities, such as Lahore and Karachi, with the Pak Army receiving comprehensive backing from terrorist groups. Saifullah Kasuri, the architect behind the terrorist assault in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, and a sought-after leader of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), has also emerged publicly in Pakistan.
Recently, at a political rally in Pakistan's Punjab province, Kasuri made provocative speeches against India from the stage and spewed venom against India. Mumbai attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed also attended these rallies. These rallies in Pakistan were held under the patronage of the Punjab and Sindh governments.
Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Saifullah Kasuri also joined the anti-India rallies. Kasuri is also the mastermind of the Pahalgam terror attack. "I am being blamed for the Pahalgam attack, now my name has become famous all over the world. Kasuri has been involved in anti-India activities for long. He is one of the important members of LeT. Hafiz Saeed's son Talha Saeed also attended the recent rally.

Talha Saeed, son of Lashkar leader Hafiz Saeed, who is listed as the 32nd most wanted terrorist in India, also attended the rally. From the stage, Talha delivered incendiary speeches and chanted slogans such as Nara-e-Takbeer. He had run unsuccessfully in the 2024 general elections for the NA-122 seat in Lahore and is linked to the PML, regarded as the political wing of Lashkar-e-Taiba.
The PMML has been carrying out anti-India campaigns for some time now. The outfit has held protests in cities like Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad and Faisalabad and has been repeatedly threatening to revoke the Indus Waters Treaty, demanding the release of Hafiz Saeed and raising slogans against India. Due to international sanctions, terrorist organisations like LeT are now resorting to political platforms to carry out propaganda and recruitment activities.
