Media reports indicate that Rajkumar Mishra comes from a humble farming background. His father, Munnalal Mishra, is a farmer, and his mother, Chandrakali Mishra, is a homemaker. Rajkumar's family includes nine brothers and a sister, all of whom are well-educated, with Rajkumar being the sixth sibling.
Education and career beginnings
Rajkumar pursued his B.Tech in Chandigarh before heading to London for his M.Tech. After finishing his studies, he began working there and acquired British citizenship within five years.
Stepping into politics and success
Rajkumar Mishra became a member of the UK Labour Party two months back. Following this, he secured victory in the councillor election on April 3 and took the oath as the mayor of Belligboury city on April 12. He is the pioneer from Mirzapur to attain such a significant role overseas.
Family and personal life
Rajkumar Mishra's spouse, Abhishek Mishra, is also an engineer. He has now established himself in London with his family and has acquired permanent residency there. When the news of him becoming mayor was announced, his family was filled with joy.
Rajkumar's father shared that his son first informed his mother about this wonderful news. His mother expressed emotionally that she never imagined her son would become a mayor in a foreign country.
Ramesh and Sushil, his siblings, expressed that their family's pride stems from their father, who educated and guided all the brothers.
