Israeli Envoy supports extradition of 26/11 accused Tahawwur Rana
Israel's Ambassador to India Reuven Azar has extended support for the extradition of 26/11 Mumbai terror attack accused Tahawwur Rana and appreciated India's perseverance. He said Israel is always on India's side in the fight against terrorism.
Israel's Ambassador to India Reuven Azar has extended support for the extradition of 26/11 Mumbai terror attack accused Tahawwur Rana and appreciated India's steadfastness in bringing the terrorists to justice. "We are excited that one of the perpetrators of the horrific terrorist attacks in Mumbai on November 26, 2008 has been extradited to India," Azar said in a video shared by the Israeli embassy in New Delhi. More than 170 innocent civilians, including Israelis, were killed in this attack.

Former Israeli Ambassador to India Daniel Carmon welcomed the extradition of Tahawwur Rana to India, calling it a great development in the long fight against terrorism and said it was a major achievement for all those who believe that terrorists should be fought till the end. Knowing how horrific the terror attack was for the people of India and Mumbai, I think it's a huge accomplishment.

Speaking on Israel-India cooperation and against terrorism, he said that Israel has always been with India in the fight against terrorism and there is no conversation in which Israel has not discussed that India, like Israel, is a victim of terrorist attacks. The 26/11 of Mumbai was undoubtedly a terrible, terrible tragedy.
