PM Modi and President Macron to Co-Chair AI Action Summit in Paris
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Paris, the capital of France, where he will co-chair the AI Action Summit alongside French President Emmanuel Macron.
President Emmanuel Macron of France greeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi warmly in Paris and conveyed his excitement about the AI Action Summit.
President Emmanuel Macron also welcomed Vice President of the United States J.D. Vance to the AI Summit. Sharing a post on X, President Emmanuel Macron wrote, "Welcome to Paris, my friend @NarendraModi! Nice to meet you dear @VP Vance! Welcome to all our partners for the AI Action Summit. Let’s get to work!"
Upon his arrival in Paris, Prime Minister Modi was warmly welcomed by members of the Indian community. The members of the Indian community also sang 'Hare Krishna' while waiting for Prime Minister Modi's arrival in Paris.
The AI Action Summit will be co-chaired by the Prime Minister and the French President. They will meet with global leaders and tech industry executives to talk about AI-driven advancements. The visit is historically significant as the two leaders will together inaugurate India's first consulate in Marseille, representing a key moment in diplomatic relations.
The visit is part of continuous efforts to strengthen the strategic partnership between India and France, including assessing the progress of the Horizon 2047 roadmap, which aims at long-term collaboration in crucial sectors.
