According to the IDF (Israel Defense Force), soldiers from the Haruv special forces unit killed two militants during an anti-terrorist operation in Jenin on Thursday. Nonetheless, during the conflict, IDF Sergeant Liam Heji lost his life and five other soldiers were injured.

Haruv forces are maintaining their operations in Jenin. Yesterday, during the mission, the troops conducted searches within a building in the region and had a close confrontation with two terrorists who had barricaded themselves inside.

After several hours, soldiers of the Haruv patrol and other forces surrounded the building into which the two militants had escaped and killed them.

At the beginning of this month, Israeli forces initiated a significant operation in the Jenin region, named the 'Iron Wall,' shortly after a ceasefire was announced in Gaza.

Two Palestinian children were injured in their feet after being hit by Israeli gunfire on Thursday evening in the town of al-Khader, located south of Bethlehem.

A 23-year-old Palestinian man was injured by Israeli gunfire during a raid in al-Ubeidiya, a town east of Bethlehem.

Moreover, Israeli troops raided the Bawaba area in al-Khader, deploying tear gas and stun grenades, which resulted in several civilians experiencing suffocation from gas inhalation, according to Wafa.

On Thursday, Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa stated that the events occurring in the occupied West Bank are part of a 'systematic effort to dismantle the foundations of the Palestinian state'.

In addition to its extensive military operation in Gaza, Israel has been conducting a significant military campaign across the occupied West Bank since October 2023.

Since that time, Israeli soldiers and settlers have taken the lives of at least 880 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.
