Gaza Receives Critical Medical Supplies from UAE
Convoy Includes 35 Trucks
Three Emirati convoys carrying humanitarian aid arrived in the Gaza Strip this week from Egypt's Rafah border crossing as part of the UAE's Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.
It is in support of the Palestinian people. The convoy consisted of 35 trucks carrying more than 248.9 tons of humanitarian aid, including more than 100 tons of medical supplies.
These included medical equipment such as dialysis machines, ultrasound devices, resuscitation sets, wheelchairs and respiratory masks, as well as medical consumables and a variety of medicines.
Entry into the Gaza Strip under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3
Additionally, aid included food supplies, shelter tents, flour, and other essential items. Thus the total number of aid convoys entering the Gaza Strip under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 has increased to 153, including 2,391 trucks. The total Emirati assistance extended to the Palestinian people so far under the operation has exceeded 29,274 tons, which has significantly contributed to alleviating the hardships faced by the people of Gaza, especially the most vulnerable groups, by meeting essential requirements.
Humanitarian Aid for Palestinian People
During this week, several medical aid convoys carrying more than 100 tons of medicines, medical equipment and consumables were sent, said Fadl bin Arhama Al Shamsi, a representative of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3. He emphasized that the highest standards of quality and safety are adhered to in the storage and transportation of these medical supplies.
Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 aims to provide assistance to all affected groups in the Gaza Strip, reflecting the UAE's commitment to intensifying relief efforts and increasing humanitarian assistance for the Palestinian people.
