The Boxing Federation of India, an emerging force in global boxing, will occupy seven key positions in the newly formed interim body's framework, including the board member role for president Ajay Singh.

Indian representatives will be included in all significant commissions, guaranteeing a strong influence in policy-making and strategic decisions. This includes BFI Secretary General Hemant Kumar Kalita, who will have a significant role in the Olympic Commission, and BFI Treasurer Digvijay Singh, who will serve on the Finance and Audit Committee.

The establishment of Asian boxing marks a significant milestone for global boxing and is a crucial step in securing the sport's presence in the Olympic Games in LA 2028 and future events.

Dr. Karanjit Singh is set to become a member of the Medical Commission for the newly formed Asian organization. Their participation underscores India's commitment to keeping boxing as a premier Olympic sport and highlights the nation's growing significance in the field.
