We want Bangladesh to stop killing Hindus, stop burning places of worship, stop raping women, stop kidnapping women. And we want peace in Bangladesh. "

Massive protests erupted in Chittagong on October 25 following the arrest of Hindu priest Chinmoy Krishna Das on charges of sedition. Another Hindu temple on the outskirts of Dhaka was reportedly set on fire. The Mahabhagya Laxminarayan temple in Dhor village, north of Dhaka, was also attacked. India had on November 26 expressed deep concern over the arrest and denial of bail to Chinmoy Krishna Das, who is also the spokesperson of Bangladesh-affiliated Sanatan Jagran Jot.
