MP CM Mohan Yadav Urges Indian Diaspora in London to Invest in India
While visiting the UK, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav interacted with the Indian diaspora and international supporters of Madhya Pradesh and the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP), highlighting various investment opportunities in India.
Chief Minister Yadav delivered an extensive address covering various facets of India. He talked about the recently finished elections in multiple states and highlighted the importance of digital public infrastructure in enhancing service delivery to the public.
The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh highlighted the significant impact of Direct Benefit Transfers (DBT) and elaborated on its benefits. He noted that DBT has been vital in guaranteeing that funds are delivered directly to the recipients.
He urged the diaspora to invest in Madhya Pradesh's tourism industry and assured full support in aspects such as electricity, water supply, land availability, and tax incentives. CM Yadav called for investment beyond Indore to raise the overall development of the entire state.
The Chief Minister highlighted the expanding medical tourism sector and noted substantial investment opportunities in technology, pharmaceuticals, engineering, and other areas.
CM Yadav revealed the 'Invest Madhya Pradesh - Global Investors Summit,' scheduled for February 2025 in Bhopal, and encouraged attendees to consider investment opportunities in the state.
Additionally, the Chief Minister spoke about the immense potential of the energy sector and referenced India's largest floating solar park on the Narmada River in Omkareshwar.
The 90 MW Omkareshwar Floating Solar Project is housed in Omkareshwar Floating Solar Park located in District Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh. This Park is the largest floating solar park in India. The project is one of the largest floating solar projects in Central and North India. With the commissioning of the project, the company has ventured into the floating solar power segment.
Mohan Yadav is currently on a seven-day visit along with a senior delegation of state officers to promote Investment opportunities offered by Madhya Pradesh.
The visit underscores the Madhya Pradesh government's commitment to advancing industrial development and fostering meaningful collaborations beyond investments.
