Israeli Airstrikes Kill Palestine: Instead of stopping the war between Israel and Gaza, it is becoming more violent. Meanwhile, Israel carried out a massive airstrike in Gaza, killing 11 Palestinians. Israeli aircraft attacked several areas from morning till afternoon, and a drone attack in Tel al-Hawa area, west of Gaza City, killed one person and injured several others. The army said that this incident was a “clear violation” of the ceasefire. Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem accused Israel of committing a “genocide” by “seriously violating” the ceasefire.

Local sources identified the deceased as Sami at-Dahdouh, a member of the Islamic Jihad Movement. Three people were seriously injured in a separate drone strike west of Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza. Earlier, two airstrikes targeting a tent sheltering displaced people in the Jabalia refugee camp in the north and a gathering in Khan Younis in the south killed 10 people.

Residents reported that Israeli forces used artillery and gunfire to destroy homes near the Sheikh Zayed area north of Jabalia. Artillery shelling was also reported in the al-Tuffah area of eastern Gaza City. There was no immediate Israeli comment on Sunday’s attacks, but earlier the Israel Defense Forces said troops identified and attacked several armed militants emerging from an underground structure in northern Gaza, killing two and wounding others.

According to Gaza health officials, 601 Palestinians have been killed and 1,607 injured since the ceasefire came into effect. The total number of deaths since October 7, 2023, is 72,061 and the number of injured is 171,715, according to officials. Despite the US-brokered ceasefire agreement entering its second phase, violence continues in the Palestinian territory, with Israel and Hamas accusing each other of violating the agreement.
