Law enforcement intervened
Once the video went viral, the police took swift action. Officials stated that such irresponsible behavior could be dangerous. Rachakonda Police Commissioner G Sudheer Babu acknowledged the incident and instructed the police to file a case. The police investigated, identified, and arrested the suspect. They posted on social media that this reckless act caused inconvenience to road users and posed a threat to road safety. When questioned by the police, the suspect confirmed that the notes thrown were genuine. The police mentioned that the cash has not been recovered yet and the investigation is ongoing.
