Rajvir Jawanda Dies at 35: Renowned punjabi singer and actor Rajvir Jawanda passed away today at the age of 35. After battling for life for nearly 12 days, he breathed his last at Fortis Hospital in Mohali. Rajvir Jawanda was seriously injured in a horrific bike accident near Baddi, Himachal Pradesh on September 27 and was undergoing treatment since then.
Rajvir Jawanda Dies at 35: Accident happened in Shimla
Rajveer’s accident occurred while he was riding his bike towards Shimla. His motorcycle suddenly collided with an animal on the road near Pinjore, causing it to go out of control. He suffered serious head and spinal injuries in the accident. He also suffered a heart attack while being transported to the hospital. He was admitted to Fortis Hospital, where he was continuously kept on a ventilator.
Rajvir Jawanda Death News: Former Deputy CM Expresses Grief
Former Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Randhawa posted on the social media platform X, writing, “The news of the death of renowned Punjabi singer Rajveer Jawanda following a road accident is heartbreaking. He was hospitalized for several days and his condition remained critical. The Punjabi music world has lost a unique voice today. I pray that God may rest his soul in peace and give the family the strength to bear this unbearable loss.”
Punjab Congress President and Ludhiana MP Amarinder Singh Raja Warring also posted his picture on the social media platform X and wrote, “Deeply saddened by the passing of Rajveer. We all prayed for his speedy recovery, but alas, God had other plans. My condolences are with his family, friends, and fans, who are heartbroken by this tragic event. I pray that Waheguru grants eternal peace to his soul and gives his loved ones the strength to bear this loss.”

Actress Neeru Bajwa also shared an old picture of Rajveer on Instagram and wrote an emotional message, “The untimely passing of the cheerful and kind-hearted Rajveer is unbearable. Dear Rajveer, goodbye. Losing a promising young talent is an irreparable loss. May his family and loved ones find strength in this difficult time. He will always live in our memories.” Punjabi film industry actor Gurpreet Ghuggi also posted his picture on Instagram and wrote in the caption, “Jawanda lost the battle of life. We will never forget you, little brother.”
