Telangana Accident: Twenty people have died, and several other have been injured after the bus collided with a gravel-laden truck on the Hyderabad-bijapur highway this morning. The passengers who lost their lives in the truck accident include a 10-month –old baby, 10 women, and the drivers of both vehicles.
The accident happened in Telangana’s rangareddy district, about 60 km from Hyderabad. The bus, belongs to telangana state road Transport Corporation, which had 70 people on board. The bus was on its way from Tandur in Vikarabad ditrict to Hyderabad when it collided with truck which was loaded with the construction material. Several passengers got buried under the gravel loaded in the truck.

Several passengers injured in the accident were shifted to a government hospital whereas, condition of some of the injured is still critical. According to the reports. The scenes were heartbreaking and showcased people buried in the gravel and screaming for help, whereas, police and rescue workers are struggling hard to pull out injured peoples.

Road Truck Accident: Driver’s seat and the six seats behind that hit worst and most of the passengers in sitting in this area died on spot. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed sorrow over the accident and directed the officials to reach the spot and support rescue and provide the relief operation.
Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar had words to the road transport corporation’s managing director, Y Nagireddy, about the reason of this accident and have asked collector of Rangareddy district to ensure that proper relief treatment must be reached at the spot.
KT Rama rao, the working president of Telengana’s main opposition BRS, espressed his consoledence for the families of those who were killed in the accident. Also mentioned that the government must respond immediately and provide relied to the families of dead and to the injured. Best relief and medical care must be provided to the victims and full investigation must be carried out for knowing causes of this horrific accident.
