Kapil Sharma Puppet of Urduwood: ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show 4’ has currently concluded; however, this season brought laughter to many and played a significant role in honing the talents of several artists, bringing them into the spotlight. The finale, in particular, saw Sunil Grover deliver such a spectacular performance that everyone was left utterly spellbound. Sunil Grover mimicked the late actor Kader Khan and this was no mere mimicry; rather, it appeared as though Sunil Grover had completely channeled the very spirit of Kader Khan.
However, despite being such an excellent show, it has yet to invite any guests who produce films centred on the national interest. Consequently, many have sarcastically dubbed Bollywood “Urduwood” a label in which they have now included Kapil Sharma as well.
Kapil Sharma Controversy

So today, we are going to reveal yet another “puppet” of “Urduwood” someone who listens only to those individuals who label even films made in the national interest as “propaganda.” We are talking about Kapil Sharma a man who invites the cast of almost every newly released film to his show, be it a small-scale production or a major blockbuster; yet, to this day, he has never invited the cast members of some of Bollywood’s biggest films.
To date, he has not extended an invitation to his show to the cast of films such as Kashmir Files, Bengal Files, The Kerala Story (Parts 1 & 2), Chhava, and Dhurandhar (Parts 1 & 2). This is despite the fact that these films rank among the very best performers at the box office.
Kapil Sharma Puppet of Urduwood: Why is Kapil Sharma called a Puppet?

If you understand the underlying reason, you will realise the true nature of these individuals. For your information, the producer of this show is Salman Khan; notably, even Salman Khan has yet to promote any films that bring the country’s reality to the forefront. In fact, he does not even speak about such films. On the contrary, he is predominantly seen promoting films that showcase themes such as secularism.
Film promotions on Kapil Sharma Show

A Major source of this criticism emerged in 2022 March, when the filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri alleged that Kapil Sharma declined to invite the cast of The Kashmir Files to his show, reportedly citing that absence of a commercial star cast. These claims transformed into widespread debate, with critics who argues this decision. Especially when compared to the promotions with other films, which raised questions about selective visibility and promotions. This controversy quickly gained debate online that lead to campaigns such as to boycott the show.
