WhatsApp Daily Spam Messages: A survey has revealed that WhatsApp users are being bombarded with a large number of spam and unwanted messages every day. The survey, conducted by LocalCircles, found that approximately 96 percent of users receive some kind of unsolicited message daily. Only 4 percent of respondents said they do not receive any promotional or spam messages on WhatsApp.

More than 13,000 people participated in this survey. Of these, 54 percent of users reported receiving one to three spam or promotional messages daily. 30 percent said they receive four to seven such messages. About 11 percent of users reported receiving eight or more unwanted messages every day.
WhatsApp Spam Alert: Supreme Court’s Strong Remarks
This report comes at a time when the Supreme Court has reprimanded Meta and WhatsApp over data sharing. The court said that companies cannot compromise the privacy rights of users. The court specifically mentioned ordinary people who depend on digital platforms but do not fully understand the implications of privacy policies.
WhatsApp Updates: More Messages Come from WhatsApp Business Accounts
The survey also revealed that most spam messages are sent from WhatsApp Business accounts. WhatsApp Business is a feature that allows companies and businesses to send messages directly to users for a fee. Many people are misusing this feature to send promotional messages without permission.
