Triumph Tracker 400 Review: British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph Motorcycles has long been associated with stylish design and premium craftsmanship. In recent years, the brand has witnessed a sharp rise in popularity across the Indian market, thanks to its growing lineup of performance-oriented yet accessible motorcycles.

Building on this momentum, the company has now introduced its latest offering — the Triumph Tracker 400 — in India. The new model aims to strengthen Triumph’s presence in the highly competitive mid-capacity segment, where riders are increasingly looking for a blend of performance, design, and everyday usability.

Interestingly, despite being branded as the Tracker 400, the motorcycle is equipped with a 350cc engine. This strategic choice reflects Triumph’s focus on tuning the bike specifically for Indian riding conditions, fuel efficiency expectations, and cost considerations. The Tracker 400 has been thoughtfully developed to cater to local riders, offering a balance of power, comfort, and practicality suited for both city commutes and occasional long rides.

With its rugged styling, modern features, and brand appeal, the Tracker 400 is expected to attract enthusiasts who want a premium experience without stepping into higher engine capacity segments.

The launch of this new bike from Triumph is being seen as a major step in the mid-segment motorcycle market. Its ex-showroom price has been set at ₹ 2.46 lakh.

The bike looks quite similar to its international model and comes in attractive colour options like Racing Yellow, Phantom Black, and Aluminium Silver Gloss.

This move by Triumph could prove beneficial for the company, given the 18% GST applicable on motorcycles up to 350cc in India. It is believed that this could further increase demand in the Indian market.
