Hyundai Crater Concept 2025: Hyundai world premiered the new Crater Concept at the Automobility LA 2025 event. It’s a compact off-roader designed primarily to explore design and new ideas, not for direct sale. The Crater was developed in California and reflects Hyundai’s passion for lifestyle mobility solutions. However, Hyundai hasn’t yet revealed whether the concept will enter production. Both its design and technology make it ready for tough terrain and off-roading.

The Hyundai Motor has unveiled the Crater Concept at the Automobility LA 2025. Tata Sierra EV, one of the fuel icon, Electric bodytype SUV. This model portrays concept of a compact off-road SUV which is designed o tackle with tough terrain. The concept might showcase production and is a preview of futuristic model. It has been designed at the South Korea automaker’s Hyundai America Technical centre in Irvine, California.
The Expected price of Hyundai crater is Rs 20 – 25 lakh. And Launch date is expected to be at 24th November, 2025.

1. Powerful off-roader
At first glance, the Crater Concept reveals its design for tackling challenging terrain. Short overhangs, straight body lines, and a compact frame gave it a rugged, off-road-friendly appearance. Each panel is designed to maximize utility, ensuring the overall bodywork is exceptionally robust. A large protective skid plate sits beneath it, making it appear as if the entire vehicle rests on it. Wide fenders cover the massive 33-inch off-road tires.
2. With off-road gear and lights
SUV’s roof features a real gear rack and lights. Steel cables extend from the hood to the roof, protecting the glass from tree branches in the forest. Another special feature is the bottle opener hidden in the recovery hook.
Hyundai Crater Interior Design

Hyundai has moved away from the premium SUV layout and created an interior designed for off-grid travel.
The traditional screen has been replaced with a full-width head-up display. Infotainment follows the ‘bring-your-own-device’ concept, meaning users can connect their own gadgets.

Crater Concept’s with exterior design was guide by clear view of shaping a rugged and capable form that reflects that it’s inspired by a chiselled bodysides to the bold new look with bold skid plates. This resulted in a concept that visualises strength, resilience and purpose.
