Google AI Mode: Google AI’s audience grows in India
AI Mode was previously only available in English and Hindi. AI Mode also helps users answer long-form questions about in-depth topics. Google says the response to AI Mode in India has been tremendous since its launch, with it being used for everything from education and writing to product comparisons and trip planning.
The company said the new language expansion is powered by the company’s custom Gemini model for Search, which is designed to understand the nuances of local languages rather than simply translate words. The rollout of these new languages will begin next week. Along with this expansion, Google has also introduced a new feature in AI mode called ‘Search Live’, which allows users to use voice and camera for search. With this, people can talk to Google and get real-time help as per their needs.

Google says this feature is especially useful for do-it-yourself projects, troubleshooting, schoolwork, and travel planning.
