Google unveils new G Icon logo after a decade
Google has changed its logo after 10 years. The new G icon will appear in gradient transitions, which were previously in four colors. This change will appear on the iOS Google Search app, while not in other apps right now. New technology may be revealed at the developer event.
Google has updated its logo for the first time in nearly a decade. Previously, the logo featured four distinct colors—red, yellow, green, and blue—but these colors will no longer be part of the logo. Instead, the iconic Google G will display these colors in a gradient transition. It's worth noting that Google last modified its logo in 2015, introducing the G icon with four colors. Users will now see the new G icon on GoogleSearch on iOS, although it won't be visible in Gmail, Maps, and other apps.
Will be seen on all platforms soon
Google's impressive new icons will soon be visible across all Google apps, although the G icon won't be part of the new gradient transition in Chrome and Google Maps. The G icon initially appeared in the iOS Google Search app and is now also visible in the Android beta version 16.18.
Google's Developer Event
Google has updated its icon, and its developer event is scheduled for May 20. It is anticipated that numerous software and techniques may be showcased during this two-day event. Additionally, new advancements and details regarding Android 16 and Gemini AI might be unveiled.
