Samsung revealed its latest flagship smartphone, Galaxy S25 at an event at San Jose in the USA, on Wednesday 22 January. JB Park, President and CEO of Samsung Southwest Asia, confirmed that the facility at Noida, India will also churn out the Galaxy S25 for distribution in the world market.

This is Samsung's largest R&D hub outside South Korea, and it is located in Bengaluru. The R&D centre has worked wonders for the Galaxy S25 series, which comprises Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25. Park said that "this cuttting-edge facility played a huge role in enriching the AI features of the new lineup."

With a starting price of $800, the Galaxy S25 series is set for the high-end smartphone market where it will directly face competition from Apple. Samsung intends to fortify its hold on the Indian market, where Apple has been strongly competing with the company.

The Galaxy S25 is equipped with incredible technology; it contains a custom Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform for Galaxy, ensuring high performance in AI-driven features, the new ProVisual camera system, and advanced photography and video tools that take mobile content creation to the next level.

Park was hopeful over the new launch, saying, "We expect that Galaxy S25 series will be even popular than the S24. Here, Indian consumers are also found to be extremely active using some of the company's AI offerings, like 'circle to search'.Now, this feature makes it easy to recognize phone numbers, emails, and URLs, enabling the user to call, email, or visit the website with just one tap.

The top-of-the-line Galaxy S25 Ultra comes with a beautiful 6.9-inch QHD+ display, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, which is upgraded from 12MP, and a 5,000mAh battery. To take a step toward sustainability, Samsung announced that the S25 will be the first Galaxy smartphone to feature batteries made from at least 50% recycled cobalt, sourced from old Galaxy devices or discarded batteries during production.

TM Roh, president and head of Samsung's Mobile Experience Business, is extremely optimistic about the launch: "The Galaxy S25 series will bring an AI-integrated operating system that changes the way we relate to technology and life itself."
