MP Unveils EV Policy 2025: Subsidies and Free Parking

To encourage the adoption of electric vehicles in Madhya Pradesh, the Urban Development and Housing Department of the state has prepared a draft of EV Policy 2025 for electric cars. Electric vehicle drivers will receive numerous advantages under the EV Policy 2025 According to this policy, EV car drivers will be exempt from paying parking fees. A subsidy will be provided for purchasing electric vehicles for an entire year.

Emphasis on Increasing Sales of EV Vehicles

Bhopal: Emphasis is being laid on increasing the sale of electric vehicles in Madhya Pradesh, which will reduce the pollution level in the state. The Madhya Pradesh government has given several exemptions for electric vehicles and increased the tax on vehicles costing more than Rs 25 lakh to reduce the circulation of petrol and diesel vehicles.

Policy will be Applicable for 5 years in 2025

The draft policy 2025 has been prepared to promote the EV car. Policy 2025 will be implemented by the end of January month. Discounts will be given for buying EV cars, this discount can be claimed online. At the same time, the government aims that five cities of Madhya Pradesh will be developed based on EV City.
