Following its release in China last year, Xiaomi has officially introduced its Pad 7 in India today. The tablet features the improved Focus Keyboard, now equipped with a trackpad, and the updated Xiaomi Focus Pen. It's worth mentioning that earlier tablet models with keyboards lacked a touchpad. For the first time, Xiaomi is integrating this feature into its tablets.

The Xiaomi Pad 7 is the first in its price range to feature a Nano Texture display, a feature typically found in high-end tablets like the iPad Pro, which costs over Rs 1 lakh.

The company claims that this Nano Texture display will diminish 99% of interfering light, reduce reflectivity by 65%, and improve eye protection, maintaining clarity even in bright light.

-8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, priced at Rs 26,999

- a 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, priced at Rs 29,999

-12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant with the first-time Nano-Texture Glass Display, available for Rs 31,999.

In the meantime, the accessories will be priced as follows:

The new Xiaomi Pad 7 will be available in three colours: Graphite Grey, Mirage Purple, and Sage Green.

Starting January 13th, the tablet will be available for purchase on Amazon.in, mi.com, and at Xiaomi retail stores. The cover and pen will also be available at that time, but the nano texture edition and the keyboard will be launched in February 2025.
