Honda Activa e Electric Scooter Launched In India
Honda Activa E electric scooter has finally been launched in India on Wednesday after a long wait. This scooter has been specifically designed for the Indian market, considering the preferences of the general public and local features.
Activa e, the Japanese automaker, has launched its first electric vehicle in the country's market. The EV features a swappable battery pack that provides a total range of up to 102 km.
The company's RoadSync Duo suite provides connectivity features, allowing users to make phone calls or navigate through Bluetooth smartphone pairing. Honda claims that the Activa e aligns with their goal to introduce 30 electric models by 2030.

Starting in 2025, the Honda Activa E can be bought in Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai.
Honda e: Swap, using the Mobile Power Pack E, is preparing to launch its battery-sharing service in specific Indian cities. This project will be managed by Honda Power Pack Energy India Private Limited.
The electric scooter will be available in both standard and SYNC Duo models, with color options such as Pearl Igneous Black, Pearl Shallow Blue, Pearl Serenity Blue, Matte Foggy Silver Metallic, and Pearl Misty White.
Honda Activa E Features, Specifications
According to Honda, its inaugural electric personal commuter in India is equipped with a wheel-side electric motor that delivers a rated output of 4.2 kW, a maximum output of 6.0 kW, and a peak torque of 22Nm.
It features two interchangeable battery packs, each with a capacity of 1.5kWh, and is reported to offer a maximum range of 102km.
The Honda Activa E features Eco, Sport, and Standard riding modes, with the Sport mode achieving a top speed of 80 kilometers per hour (kmph). Furthermore, the electric scooter comes with a reverse mode for extra convenience.
The Electric Scooter Took Its Name From The 110cc ICE Variant
Honda states that the name of its electric scooter comes from its highly popular 110cc internal combustion engine variant, but it features an entirely new design. It includes LED daytime running lights, LED headlights with turn indicators, and alloy wheels with front disc brakes.
In addition to the Honda Activa e, the Japanese automaker's Indian branch has also introduced the QC1, an electric scooter intended for short-distance travel. It is equipped with a 1.5 kWh battery pack and features an in-wheel motor with a rated output of 1.2 kW and a peak output of 1.8 kW.
Extra features include a 5-inch LCD dashboard, an LED headlamp, a USB Type-C port, and storage space under the seat.
