Hero MotoCorp Sales Surge, HF Deluxe in High Demand
Hero MotoCorp Sales : Hero MotoCorp's 100cc and 125cc model motorcycle sales have seen an increase. In the last few months, there has been a tremendous increase in the sale of bikes and scooters. The country's largest motorcycle maker Hero MotoCorp sold 6.16 lakh two-wheelers in September. Hero MotoCorp's motorcycle and scooter sales grew by about 18.12 per cent year-on-year. The company's Splendor and HF Deluxe, as well as Karizma 210 and electric scooter Vida, have seen significant year-on-year growth in sales.
Yearly Increase of 17.58 Percent
Hero MotoCorp's most popular bike Splendor sells 3 models in India, which are Splendor Plus, Super Splendor and Splendor Plus Xtech. All three models sold 3,75,886 units in September and it is a growth of 17.58 percent year-on-year. The initial ex-showroom price of Hero Splendor Plus is Rs 76,306.
Annual and Monthly Sales
Driven by demand during the festive season, Hero Moto's vehicle sales increased to 6,79,091 units in October 2024, an increase of 18.12% over sales in October 2023. At the same time, sales of Hero MotoCorp have increased by 6.60% on a monthly basis. Scooter sales have seen a year-on-year decline of 5.01% over the previous month as compared to 45,589 units sold in October 2023. While September was to see an increase of 9.57% on a monthly basis. Domestic sales in October 2024 have been up 17.44% year-on-year and 6.60% monthly growth.
Sales So Far
Hero MotoCorp has also seen an 11.66% increase in its year-on-year sales. Sales in the FY25 period have increased to a total of 37,33,931 units, an increase of 3,89,901 units as compared to 33,44,030 unit sales in FY24. Scooter sales declined by 1.61% and sold 2,41,054 units in FY25. Bikes and scooters account for 93.54% and 6.46% of the total sales. At the same time, both domestic sales and exports have seen an increase of 11.02% and 31.81% respectively.
4 New Vehicles to be Launched Soon
Hero MotoCorp's sales may get to see sales in the coming months. Actually, the company is going to launch 4 new vehicles soon. These bikes will be showcased at the EICMA show starting next week. These vehicles include the new Karizma XMR 250, Xtreme 250R, XPulse 210 as well as a new variant of the Vida electric scooter.
