CM Dhami pushes for State Action Plan post NITI Aayog Meeting

Following the 10th Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the national capital, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami instructed his Chief Secretary to develop a straightforward and feasible plan at the state level to effectively implement the topics discussed in the meeting.

The Uttarakhand Chief Minister's Office released a statement indicating that after Saturday's meeting, Dhami emphasized the necessity of fulfilling Modi's 'Developed India @ 2047' vision. He stated that achieving this requires the state government to efficiently execute schemes and policies at the grassroots level in collaboration with the central government.

He instructed the Chief Secretary to work with relevant departments to develop a timely action plan and maintain ongoing oversight of its progress. The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of transparency, accountability, and public involvement in the execution process. According to the statement from the CMO, the Chief Minister asserted that transparency and accountability must be upheld at all levels while facilitating public engagement. He stated that the state government is committed to contributing to India's goal of becoming a self-reliant and advanced nation under the Prime Minister's leadership.

The Uttarakhand Chief Minister's Office informed X that following the NITI Aayog Governing Council meeting chaired by Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami tasked the Chief Secretary with formulating a solid plan to implement the Prime Minister's directives and recommendations. The Hon'ble Chief Minister also urged the relevant officers to enhance coordination between the Centre and the State to achieve the Hon'ble Prime Minister's vision of 'Developed India @ 2047'.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the importance of all states collaborating to transform India into a developed nation by 2047, aligning with the vision of 'Developed India'. He stated in an official announcement that dedication to the growth of every state, city, and village is essential for achieving a developed India. The 10th Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog, held at Bharat Mandapam on Saturday, was attended by Chief Ministers and Lieutenant Governors from 24 states and seven Union Territories.

The theme for this year was Developed States, Developed India @2047. The meeting commenced with a moment of silence to honor the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack. Prime Minister Modi stated that every Indian dreams of transforming the nation into a developed India. He emphasized, "This is not a political agenda but the aspiration of 140 crore Indians." He mentioned that if all states collaborate towards this objective, significant progress will be made. "We must pledge to the development of every state, city, and village, and then a developed India can be realized well before 2047," he remarked.
