30 Maoists killed in fierce encounter with security forces in Chhattisgarh
Security forces have achieved a major success against Naxalites in Narayanpur, Chhattisgarh, in which more than 30 Naxalites have been killed. Maoist leader Basava Raj, who had a reward of Rs 1 crore, was also killed in the encounter. However, the firing is still going on and some Naxal commanders are under siege.
In Chhattisgarh, security forces are currently involved in a confrontation with Naxalites. In a significant achievement, over 30 Naxalites have been killed by security forces near the border areas of Narayanpur, Bijapur, and Dantewada. Gunfire continues from both sides. At the same time, many big commanders of Naxalites are under the siege of security forces. Naxal leader Basava Raj was also killed in the attack. A soldier has also been martyred in this encounter.
The encounter between the security forces and the Naxalites is still going on. In this encounter, Naxalites have been killed with a reward of lakhs of rupees. Information about the recovered weapons will be available only after the search operation.
