These areas were the focus:

"The authorities have identified illegal religious places in Pilibhit, Shravasti, Balrampur, Bahraich, Siddharthnagar and Maharajganj districts and taken action against them," the state government said in a statement. These districts in Uttar Pradesh are located next to the Nepal border. The statement conveyed that Chief Minister Yogi has firmly instructed that unlawful land occupation under the guise of any religion will not be accepted. Additionally, stringent measures will be enforced against those who disregard the regulations.

Action on more than 350 illegal religious places

"On May 10 and 11, 104 madrassas, one mosque, five mazaars and two Eidgahs were identified illegally built on public and private land in Shravasti," an official statement said. Notices were issued to all, and they were sealed. Additionally, an unauthorized madrasa on public land was demolished, while two unapproved madrasas on private property were sealed.
