Tragic road collision in Raipur: 13 dead, 10 injured

Raipur: A tragic traffic accident occurred in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, near Saragaon on the Raipur-Balodabazar road. At least 13 individuals lost their lives in a collision involving a truck and a trailer carrying passengers, with numerous others sustaining serious injuries. Police arrived at the scene promptly upon receiving notification of the accident. SP Lal Ummed Singh stated that the incident happened as the truck was coming back from Chauthia Chhatti after participating in an event.

Numerous individuals sustained injuries during the incident and were quickly taken to Dr. B.R. Hospital in Raipur. They have been admitted to Ambedkar Memorial Hospital.

Police gave information about the incident

Raipur SP Lal Ummed Singh said, "Residents of Chataud village traveled to Bana Banarasi to participate in the sixth event. On their way back, an accident occurred on the Raipur-Balodabazar road. Thirteen individuals lost their lives, and twelve others were injured. All the injured have been transported to the hospital for urgent medical care."
