Domestic Airport Flight Services to Begin Soon, Says Vij

Chandigarh, January 27 – Haryana's Energy, Transport, and Labour Minister, Anil Vij, expressed his satisfaction with Uttarakhand’s decision to implement the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), calling it a major milestone. He stated that one law for one and all citizens in the country would suffice and stressed, "When the country is one, the law should be the same for everyone. This should have been done much earlier."

Uttarakhand's Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami earned appreciation for this effort, said Anil Vij through his social media post on X (formerly Twitter).

Speaking to the media on the issue, Anil Vij again emphasized his strong support for the UCC, saying it's a long-overdue step. He criticized previous governments for delaying its implementation, saying, "This should have been done a long time ago. However, previous governments focused on appeasement policies, which held back its progress. One country should have one law."

Domestic Flight Services To Start Soon

On the other hand, Minister Vij talked about recent updates with regard to commencement of flight services from the domestic airport in Ambala Cantonment. He also informed that the airport would be functional soon and that all processes for it were completed.
