CM Nayab Singh brings major relief for Haryana's Group-D employees
Class IV employees working in government departments, boards, corporations, and autonomous bodies in Haryana will now receive their uniform allowance as a lump sum rather than in installments.
Currently, the uniform allowance is Rs 440 per month in addition to the salary. Starting in April, the new regulation will take effect, and up to Rs 5280 will be provided annually based on the uniform bill.
The Chief Secretary has directed all departments accordingly. Meanwhile, the Finance Department has raised the gratuity limit to Rs 5 lakh for state government employees, officers, and those in judicial services. Previously, gratuity was capped at Rs 20 lakh, but starting January 1, it will be increased to Rs 25 lakh. This represents a 25 percent increase in gratuity.
Previously, CM Nayab Singh Saini provided significant relief to the colony's residents. He declared that colonies set up years ago in urban areas, which have been granted partial completion certificates, will no longer be required to obtain full completion certificates. This will provide significant relief.
The state government has revised the half-century-old regulations to guarantee basic amenities in the colonies and accelerate development projects. The Law and Legislative Department has issued a notice for the Haryana Urban Area Development and Regulation (Amendment) Bill, which pertains to the development and regulation of urban regions.
