Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma took a holy dip in the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj and said the grand ceremony there reminded him of the thousands of years old culture. The Mahakumbh reminds us of our thousands of years old culture.

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal said that he had the unique privilege of taking a dip of faith at the holy Triveni Sangam in 'Mahakumbh-2025', a grand confluence of faith, devotion and unity in Prayagraj. After taking a dip, he had the divine darshan of Hanuman Ji Maharaj and worshiped him with full rituals, praying for the happiness, prosperity, auspiciousness and healthy life of all the people of the state.

The Maha Kumbh Mela began on January 13 and will continue till February 26. The next major bathing dates include January 29 (Mauni Amavasya - second Shahi Snan), February 3 (Basant Panchami - third Shahi Snan), February 12 (Maghi Purnima) and February 26 (Maha Shivratri). Braving chilly weather and dense fog, a large number of devotees gathered at the holy Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj to witness the Ganga Aarti on the morning of the eighth day of the Maha Kumbh Mela.
